ANCHOR RODS

​●Used for guying utility poles. 
●For use with expanding and cross-plate anchors

STANDARD UNDERPINNING BRACKET

​The foundations resting on unstable soil may shift and settle. To correct this problem, helical piers s are screwed into stable soils and attached to the foundation with brackets. The underpinning brackets are utilized to support the weight of the structure. 

It is made from the highest quality steel, and is designed to last for years even under the most strenuous working conditions.

NEW CONSTRUCTION BRACKETS FOR 1-1/2”HELICAL PIERS

​●Material: Bracket-Ductile Iron, Grade 654512 Per ASTM A536;RCS Shaft-Per ASTM A29 or A576 
●Hot-dipped galvanized per ASTM A123, after fabrication 
●Do not exceed 165 ft/lbs of Torque on 7/8" dia. ●Lifting thread rods during stabilizing or load lock-off. 
●Recommend anchor shaft cutoff level above the bottom of the footing is 10" to 11" maximum lift distance.

HELICAL TIE BACKS

A tie back is a horizontal wire or rod, or a helical anchor used to

reinforce retaining walls for stability. 


Applications 
●Used to stabilize existing walls that are failing or bowing inward 
●Used for adding strength in newly construction walls 
●Used to stop shear movement of foundation and retaining walls 


How to Install 
●A hole is cored through the wall 
●The helical anchor is screwed in to the soil past the zone of soil that is moving towards the wall to secure the wall against further movement 
●A wall plate is mounted to add strength and stability to the previously-compromised wall.

●Can be designed to stop all types of movement form lateral soil pressure 
●Quick installation and return to service 
●No excavation required on the high-grade side of foundation or retaining walls.

NO-WRENCH SCREW ANCHORS

●An integral forged eye anchor with a helix welded to the shaft and for manual or machine. 
●Manual installations accomplished by inserting a bar through the eye and screwing the anchor down in line with the guy. 
●Installation with portable or vehicle mounted installing equipment is accomplished with adapters. 
●Can be installed to a greater depth to reach a firmer soil by using an extension rod, available in three length

●Angle Bracket 0.5-inch thick flat plate conforming to ASTM A-36 hot rolled steel bent to form a 90 degree angle with equal sides of approximately 8 inches. Ultimate tensile strength = 58,000 psi (min.), yield tensile strength = 36,000 psi (min.)
●Bracket Support Strap 0.375-inch thick x 3 inches wide x 21.25 inches flat bar conforming to ASTM A-36 hot rolled steel which is bent into a “horseshoe” shape around the bracket tube. Ultimate tensile strength = 58,000 psi (min.), yield tensile strength = 36,000 psi (min.) 
